ABOUT US

Moto Guzzis are a part of our family fabric

Uncle Mike's deep love and connection to Moto Guzzis spanned decades

The Journey began with our Uncle Mike, whose deep love and connection to Moto Guzzi spanned decades and continents, pathing his way across the world and carving out friendships. He strengthened our Moto Guzzi ties and ignited our passion, so with him at the forefront of our doing we continue to build connections with Moto Guzzi enthusiasts and communities wherever we roam.

Meet the team

Dyalan Batenburg

Dylan

Dylan can still remember the first time he rode a motorbike – and the thrill of riding’s never gotten old. He’s met many great and interesting people where motorcycling is the common denominator – particularly Moto Guzzis. An architectural designer by trade and outdoor enthusiast by choice, you’ll find him on the road, up a mountain or in the ocean making the most of nature’s best. He’s never one to turn down a pie or good conversation – washed down with a sense of humour!

Alongside the communications side of the business, Dee is also chief cook and bottle-washer!

Moto Guzzi's engineering

From pioneering the world’s first motorcycle wind tunnel to developing race-proven suspension systems and innovative frame designs, Moto Guzzi has always marched to its own beat — creating machines that are as mechanically fascinating as they are emotionally engaging. It’s engineering with soul, built not just to perform, but to endure and inspire.

At the heart of that legacy is the signature transverse V-twin engine, introduced in the 1960s. With its cylinders jutting out sideways, this unique layout gives every Guzzi its unmistakable look, sound, and feel. More than aesthetics, the air-cooled design delivers strong torque, smooth power delivery, and low-maintenance reliability thanks to its shaft drive system.
